Mass Intentions

To request a Mass intention is to ask that the graces of a particular Mass be offered for a specific person or purpose — for the repose of a soul, in thanksgiving, for healing, or for a private intention. It is one of the most powerful gifts we can give, living or deceased, because it unites our prayer to the Sacrifice of Christ himself.

By long-standing custom, an offering accompanies the request. The offering is not a payment for the Mass — which is priceless — but a gift that supports the parish and the priest who offers it.
