Ladies Altar Society

The Ladies Altar Society is a women's organization devoted to the care of the altar and the sacred furnishings of the church. Its members maintain the altar, prepare the linens, vessels, and other liturgical necessities for Mass, and carry out corporal and spiritual works of mercy in service to the parish community. In our area the Society operates principally through Sacred Heart / St. Benedict Catholic Parish in Hollister; women of our parish are warmly welcome to take part.
